BBC Points West — silent discos in care homes
We were delighted to feature on BBC Points West, sharing how our silent disco programme is bringing music and movement to care home residents across North Somerset.
The silent disco sessions, run by our therapy team, use wireless headphones so residents can listen and move together to music they love. The BBC team joined one of our sessions and the response from residents, families and staff has been wonderful.

Don't Fall — Walk and Talk
Our new community walk-and-talk group is helping people rebuild confidence on their feet, supported by chartered physiotherapists.
Our Don't Fall Walk Talk sessions combine gentle group walking with falls-prevention education. Sessions are free and run weekly — get in touch to find your local group.

Funding approved for silent discos in care homes
We're delighted that funding has been approved for our silent disco programme across care homes in North Somerset.
Thanks to local funding partners, we'll be able to expand the silent disco programme to more care homes in 2026 — bringing music, movement and joy to many more residents.
