Severn Community Therapies CIC now offers Hush Disco! A silent disco kit for hire to care homes a community events. 

Silent disco is a wonderful, immersive way to listen to music with others by wearing comfy headphones and toggling between 3 playlists. Others can see what music you’re listening to by the LED colour showing on your headphones. Music memory often is the last to remain in dementia and so can be used to help people recall the past with the rhythm and lyrics. Music helps us move our bodies, smile, bond with others and offers a shared positive experience for people with those around them. This is particularly important in care homes when people need new experiences, to make new memories, to have something to share with visiting family and friends. 

There is an option for a physio-led disco to support those with reduced mobility to move to the music more freely.
