Age UK’s Great Information on Exercising in Later Life

Age UK have released this great write up on choosing the right exercise as you get older:

There are lots of different ways to exercise and you can always find a way that suits your needs. Some people prefer to exercise at home, or out and about on their own. Other people prefer a group setting for advice and support from their peers. Exercises can be adapted to suit your needs. For example, you can do exercises based in a chair rather than standing if you find this more comfortable.

The most important thing to remember is that exercise has lots of benefits, so whatever you are able to manage will make a real difference.
